The Jordansprudel is the landmark of Bad Oeynhausen and the subject of this circular walk.

The Jordansprudel, the largest carbonated thermal brine spring in the world when it was drilled in 1926, is the landmark of Bad Oeynhausen. And it is the theme of this circular hike, which leads along some of the most beautiful places in Bad Oeynhausen. Among other things, the hike leads through the southern part of Bad Oeynhausen with its pretty houses, over some hills in Oberbecksen down to the Weser and along the river to the Wiehengebirge. The ascent to the ridge path is rewarded with a magnificent view from the terrace of the Wilden Schmied, a restaurant on the ridge path. A cool drink and something tasty to eat will fortify you for the rest of the route, which leads along the ridge path towards Bergkirchen. Once there, the route leads across fields and meadows back towards Werretal. You return to the city center through the Sielpark, walk along the Kurpark on the Westkorso and then into the wooded Sieker valley. Passing the Schwedensteinen, erratic blocks from the Ice Age, you head back towards the town and finally to the end point, the Jordansprudel.
