Church
St. Johannis in Vlotho is the parish church of the Protestant Reformed parish of St. Johannis, which belongs to the church district of Vlotho of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia .

In 1732, reformed immigrants from neighboring Lippe founded a congregation in Vlotho. In 1783, the church was built with the support of Prussian King Frederick II. The baroque central building has an octagonal floor plan and a semi-circular apse on the east side. The tower was added to the west in 1884.
