The cross stands in the Krawinkel family's field below the Heimkehrer chapel.
Two events are the origin of this cross:



  1. During harvest work in 1914, a horse and cart overturned here. Nevertheless, all those involved were unharmed.

  2. Mr Krawinkel and Mr Stieren wanted to bring in poplars with the horse-drawn cart on the Aa at high water, but a fatal accident occurred: Mr Krawinkel fell into the torrential stream with the cart and died. Tragically, he had taken part in the First World War and returned home in good health.
