Here you can see the former bone glue factory. One of the oldest plants in the Gütersloh district

The Knochenmühle industrial monument is one of the oldest preserved factories in the district of Gütersloh. According to oral tradition, this property was founded in 1825 as a mining operation. At a later date, it was converted into the Jörgens Voerkel chemical factory. The transmission shaft, the scales, the bone meal plant and a mighty chimney have been preserved to this day.
