The sculpture HORST VON HÖRSTE looks out of the green space in the town center with its owl eyes at what is happening in Hörste. On its almost 3-meter-high concrete body, the viewer can discover 22 native bird species on ceramic plates. The artwork thus symbolizes the close connection between the climatic health resort and its inhabitants and the nature of the Teutoburg Forest. HORST VON HÖRSTE is a joint project by creative citizens of Hörste, organized by the Hörste local history and tourism association and supported in word and deed by the artist studio TrioArt.
The sculpture is located in the green area in the town center.
