Hofcafé zur Müdehorst

Historic site

The Meyer zu Müdehorst farm is one of the oldest farms in Bielefeld.

The Deelencafé in the courtyard invites you to enjoy a cup of coffee and freshly baked cake! Many things in the Deele have remained exactly as they were when it was built in 1791, such as the old thick Deelen beams that stretch across the entire house - 15 m from outer wall to outer wall. Old sandstone troughs, from which generations of working horses ate their oats,  sandstone posts, old iron fittings, large thick floor slabs or the cobblestones in the entrance area tell their own stories of use as a residential and farm building over the centuries.
