Graffiti-Stern

The Graffitistern Paderborn is probably a unique project: here, the Paderborn artist scene can create graffiti in a central location.
On the one hand, this happens at special events, such as the Paderkult(o)ur or Libori. On the other hand, it also happens at any time, because Paderborn graffiti artists can create their works of art here in consultation with the city. This makes the Graffitistern a constantly changing figurehead of the graffiti scene in Paderborn.
On the other hand, a work of art is always created here that is subsequently for sale. Where graffiti is otherwise characterized by the fact that it is created legally or illegally on house walls, trains or on walls approved for this purpose, here a graffiti can later leave the place where it was sprayed. It becomes much more like mobile art and can be acquired by interested and art-loving citizens as a pure work of art, as a reference to Paderborn or as an appreciation of this special reality of graffiti art.
