Bathing like in imperial times
The listed Bauernbad Rehmerloh from 1883 is a former bathing and lodging house. In the period between Whitsun and Thanksgiving (the house could not be heated), it served as a bathhouse for the rural population at weekends. During the week, therapeutic baths were offered using water from a nearby spring. It was in operation until 1973 and was also called the Bösch fountain after the family that ran it.

Between 1996 and 2002, the building was renovated and then reopened. It is now privately owned and leased by the town of Kirchlengern. The Förderverein Bauernbad Rehmerloh e.V. is responsible for its use and cultural preservation and visitors can view the old building, including the water supply system and exhibits.
