A route through idyllic nature

The trolley route covers a total length of around 14 kilometers from Rahden to Hann. Ströhen and back again. During the journey, you pass through beautiful green spaces and the border between North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. The route runs through peaceful, natural surroundings where you can enjoy the fresh air and relaxed atmosphere.

Riding fun for everyone: technology and comfort

The draisines in Rahden are designed so that they can be used by anyone without any problems. Similar to a bicycle, the trolleys are moved by muscle power. Each rider has their own 7-speed gearbox, allowing them to choose their own pace. The height-adjustable saddles ensure that both shorter and taller riders can sit comfortably. There are also belt-secured seats for passengers, which makes the experience particularly safe and comfortable.

The trolleybuses are available in different sizes: they offer space for two or four riders and also for two to eight passengers. This makes them ideal for smaller and larger groups. Catering has also been considered: there is plenty of storage space so that you can take breaks and enjoy a picnic during the ride.

There are numerous opportunities to take a break along the route. The charming surroundings invite you to take a break at the stopovers and explore nature. This makes the ride not only a sporting experience, but also a relaxing break from everyday life.

Practical information for your trolley ride

The departure point for the trolleys is located at Weherstraße 51 in Rahden, not far from the train station. The duration of a trolley ride is between 2 and 3 hours, depending on your own pace and the breaks you take. The ride is designed to be doable for all age groups without any particular effort.
