Altes Rathaus Lage

City Hall/Citizens’ services
The town hall was built between 1863 and 1865. In 1904 and 1905, it was rebuilt as we see it today by the well-known master builder Gustav Meßmann, i.e. the town hall was extended, the roof truss was extended and both a ridge turret and the town hall clock were added. The protruding corner tower was given a spire. Before this town hall was built, there were two predecessors.

Today, there are various buildings around the market square that are used as town halls.
