Ackerbürgerhaus Lange Str. 64

historical building
This two-storey former farmhouse was built around 1640/50. It has ornamentation typical of the Weser Renaissance period (1550 to 1650). The gable, which projects four times over profiled beam heads, is richly decorated with ornamental carvings, the shapes of which largely match those on the house at Bergstraße 23, so that it is assumed that the same master carpenter and shadier worked here.

The original building from the 17th century is adjoined by an extension from 1912, which also features rich decorative carvings on the bows, infill timbers and beam heads.
