Fragrant herbs, juniper heaths, rare orchids and the enormous variety of butterflies associated with them are what make this multi-day tour so special. You hike up and down the valley and the mountain ranges to the left and right of the Diemel. Again and again, the trail takes you through small villages and towns with historical charm.
Â
In addition, impressive sights such as the Weser Skywalk, Holsterburg Castle, the viewing platform on the Quast, the sinkholes known as the "Wolkenbrüche" and the dreamlike landscape of the Diemel Valley await you along the way, making you reach for your camera again and again.
