Ralf Senkel: Der hat gesessen

Ralf Senkel: That did the trick

A guy who observes, sits and talks.
An everyday philosopher.

Sometimes hilarious, sometimes so spot-on in his observations that you d think you were sitting in a cabaret.

Ralf Senkel wanders between the boundaries of comedy and cabaret and although always sitting on every stage, he does not permanently occupy any genre. It is up to the audience to recognize this tightrope walk. Linguistically and equipped with a large portion of Rhineland in his heart, he travels with you into his little world. In his village he is known like a colorful dog, not only because of his incomparably fashionable jacket, which he really always wears. Nevertheless, he says he doesn't have "metabolic problems", even if that's exactly why he's said to have them.

Ralf's so-called "professional inactivity" gives him time to observe. That's why his stories are right in the middle of everyday life, sometimes quirky, sometimes serious, but always astutely captured and most importantly: incredibly funny. Involuntarily funny?  "No, I do it voluntarily!"

Ralf Senkel is the winner of the Tegtmeiers Erben Audience Award 2023, the Datteln and Kremenholler Kleinkunstpreis, among others. He is also a regular guest on the Mitternachtsspitzen on WDR television and a guest in the shows of the Quatsch Comedy Club.

Experience the not-so-secret insider tip of the comedy and cabaret scene in his first solo program - "Der hat gesessen!"

Ralf Senkel comes, sits and talks... and afterwards you will say: "He did it!" - promised.
