• Concert various
with the Staatsbad Orchestra
It is intended to promote the relaxation of body and soul, enhance health, is of a rather cheerful nature, and naturally appeals to a wide audience – the spa music. A particularly successful advocate of this genre is the “Staatsbad Orchester”.

The founder and conductor of the Staatsbad Orchestra is the Hungarian-born György Kovacs, who studied clarinet himself and obtained his diploma at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.

The daily spa music can be heard with an ensemble of up to seven musicians, in the mornings and afternoons, except on Mondays. In the winter months, the orchestra plays in a smaller formation. The spa concerts feature potpourris in the first half, for example from operettas and overtures, and in the second half musical and pop melodies, swing, Dixieland, and more. Special concerts have specific themes, such as the Italian journey with music by Verdi and Rossini, or French composers like Bizet and Massenet. The most popular concerts are the request concerts on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.
