Lecture reading by and with Marion and Markus von Hagen on World Women's Day, March 8, 8 p.m. in the Niedermühle Büren
.
Everyone knows the wonderful journey of Nils Holgersson with the wild geese, but Selma Lagerlöf, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, wrote many other important novels. Important themes for her were the people, culture and legends of her Swedish homeland.

Marion and Markus von Hagen from Münster City Theatre talk about the life of this socially committed woman, who lived unconventionally and also campaigned for women's rights, and read from her works. There is also a text booklet to read what you have heard.
