Klang der Freude- Adventssingen in der Stadtkirche

Singing together brings light into the dark season and gives us moments of tranquility. We warmly invite you to join us on Sunday, the 29th of November 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the town church to sing well-known Advent songs together and share in the anticipation of the Christmas celebration.
Look forward to a special musical gathering: The choirs of the Reformed and Lutheran congregations have come together to enrich the evening with atmospheric choral songs. Joining us are the choir of the town church, the choir of the Lutheran congregation, and the gospel choir "Get-up – Gospel & more" of the town church. A special highlight awaits us in the community songs: The brass ensemble "The Sound of Christmas" will festively accompany the singing of the congregation and give the church a radiant sound.
The musical direction is in the hands of Kantorin Yi-Wen Lai (ref.) and Kantorin Stefanie Schwarz (luth.). Both invite you from the heart to experience singing in the very special atmosphere of this beginning Advent season.
To conclude the evening, all attendees will sing together the touching song "How Shall I Receive You" by Paul Gerhardt.
