Description: Nine-year-old Sophia (Emily Matthews) spends the summer with her father (Anders Danielsen Lie) and her grandmother (Glenn Close) at the family’s vacation home on a small island in the Gulf of Finland. Their time together is marked by close bonding and filled with moments of intimacy, observations of nature, and everyday conversations that define life on the island. But one topic weighs heavier than all the others and is therefore left unspoken: the death of Sophia’s mother. Yet in order to heal and move forward, the three of them must also confront their uncomfortable feelings.
