In Salzkotten, a weekly market is held every Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on the market square in front of the town hall.

This is a so-called "green market" with fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, flowers, baked goods, etc.

Postponements due to public holidays or town festivals are announced in the local press and on the Salzkotten town website.
