Weserpromenade Würgassen

Park/gardens
Places by the water exert a very special attraction. The Weser promenade in the Würgassen district of Beverungen is one such place.
The Weser meadows in Würgassen offer adults and children alike space for exercise and information. The playground and table tennis table are popular with children, while adults can relax on the sun loungers and seating cubes or play a game of boules.
As part of the project  "Experience the Weser - Experience Nature" from the overall concept "Experience the Weser Landscape", a rest information point has been set up here, which guests and locals can use to find out about the Weser region, cycling and hiking tours such as the "Three at a Stroke" route through the border triangle and excursion destinations such as the Weser Skywalk. There are a total of twelve more of these points of contact along the Weser as far as Petershagen.
A bicycle repair station and bicycle hangers complete the offer. The landing stage for the Dreiländereck ferry and the canoe jetty are just a few meters away.

Funding: The "Experience the Weser - Experience Nature" project was funded by the EU and the state of NRW (ERDF project). In the district of Höxter, three rest information points along the Weser cycle path, two cycle routes and two nature trails have been designated as part of this project.
