There are five parking spaces for motorhomes directly on the Weser and there is a landing stage for the Weser steamer.
The Weser cycle path runs directly along the harbour, so cyclists and pedestrians like to take the opportunity to stop off here, treat themselves to a moment of leisure and enjoy the view of the Weser and Weserbergland.
In earlier times, the harbour was also the focal point and an important trading location in Vlotho.
