Ulenburg moated castle has had an eventful history. Most recently, it was used by the Wittekindshof Diaconal Foundation as a facility for people with disabilities. At the beginning of 2015, it was sold to the Yazidi religious community. The castle is currently being renovated.

Schloos Ulenburg is located on the Mühlenbach stream in the north-west of Löhne. It can be reached by car and bicycle via Dorfstraße, Uhlenburger Buchenallee and Ulenburger Allee.
