The lake in the Sürenheide district of Verl is approx. 8.3 hectares in size and is a popular local recreation area. The circular path along the shore is suitable for a leisurely stroll as well as for cycling or jogging. However, swimming is not permitted.

Access via the Buntenweg or Leinenweg, among others.
