How can energy be used sustainably? The Technology Center for Future Energies in Lichtenau provides a very practical answer to this question. The building itself serves as an example of resource-efficient energy use and relies, among other things, on photovoltaics, geothermal energy, and electricity from renewable sources.
The Technology Center is one of the flagship projects of Lichtenau, the “Energy City,” and serves as a central hub for future energy sources and climate protection. Through events and informational sessions, visitors can learn about renewable energy, new technologies, and the development of the Energy City. The Lichtenau Energy Tour also stops here, offering insights into the city’s various energy projects.
