Staffpark Lemgo
The STAFF Landscape Park is located in the northern part of the old Hanseatic city of Lemgo in East Westphalia-Lippe, right on the edge of the Lemgo City Forest. Spanning approximately 16 hectares, this publicly accessible park impressively combines nature, modern art, and a historic cultural landscape.
The expansive grounds were developed beginning in 1990 according to an award-winning landscape plan and extend around the former villa of the Staff family of entrepreneurs. Gently rolling hills, blooming wildflower meadows and orchards, field hedges, wetlands, and native tree species characterize the varied landscape. From the walking paths, beautiful views of the rural surroundings and the historic Hanseatic city of Lemgo open up time and again.
A special feature of the park are three modern sculptures, including works by the internationally renowned artist Richard Serra. They create an exciting contrast between art and nature and make the park an extraordinary destination. Visitors are also welcome to pick wildflowers in season or gather windfall fruit from the orchard meadows. The STAFF Landscape Park, which is open to the public year-round, invites visitors to enjoy relaxing walks, nature experiences, and cultural discoveries alike.
