Pompous interior with Hall of Mirrors in the style of Versailles
While the exterior of the palace impresses with its simple facades, visitors can expect magnificent stucco work and elegant rooms inside. The Hall of Mirrors in the central building of the manor house is particularly impressive - a masterpiece that is reminiscent of the splendor of Versailles in miniature.
Unique park with trees over 200 years old
The extensive park at Hüffe Castle is a work of art in itself and offers a striking visual axis that opens up views as far as the Wiehengebirge mountains. Originally laid out as a baroque garden by court gardener Pierre Bourgignon, the grounds were transformed into an English-style landscape garden in 1784. Visitors can admire the old giant trees and exotic shrubs, which are over 200 years old and contribute to the artistic design.
Carefully restored and maintained
Since 1977, the manor house and the entire park have been carefully restored and maintained by the owners - the Krukemeyer family and Countess Schwerin. Today, the castle is privately owned, but parts of the park are open to visitors.
