potts park uniquely combines amusement, knowledge, speed and entertainment. It is the only leisure park in Germany to have successfully incorporated a science center into its offering. The giant apartment, which was entered into the Guinness Book of Records in 1983 and remains unsurpassed to this day, and the unique TURBO dragon are just some of the original attractions at potts park. Where else can you go "Up'n Pott" in a giant toilet or hurtle through a giant skeleton?
Family-friendly:
As a family adventure park, the core target groups have been defined as families with children up to the age of 12/13. Almost all attractions are designed for this target group to experience together. This does not mean that teenagers or young adults cannot have fun. You will only not find large roller coasters with maximum acceleration or "overhead" attractions. Shared experiences with the family or a group are worth much more than just telling each other about your experiences. potts park offers the opportunity to simply have fun together!
Educational value:
Learning through play is a central aspect of the park philosophy. It can be fun to get clever with them. In the water garden, water can be "pumped" without electricity, in the "Terra phänomenalis" over 130 exhibits invite visitors to try them out and in the giant apartment, adults can experience the environment from the perspective of a two-year-old child. Rides on a wide variety of rides convey different types of acceleration.
Sustainability:
Sustainable action is very important to them. potts park is located on the site of a former iron ore mine. Since the 1960s, the gray and dreary industrial wasteland has been transformed into a nationally important tourist destination in the countryside. Without public subsidies, the Pott company recultivated the site with over 20,000 trees and shrubs, which today characterize the natural appearance of the park. They have also been using only green electricity since 2012. They do not need any legal regulations to create a beautiful landscape. Furthermore, they are friends of longevity and good quality of our attractions. The majority of these are produced in Germany.
Movement:
Digitalization means that a lot of time is spent in front of the computer in a virtual world. They have set themselves the task of motivating children and adults to participate with interactive offers in the real world. Numerous attractions help to promote dexterity. There is also the opportunity to test and get to know the limits of your own physical ability by climbing, jumping and running around.
