The open-air stage in Nettelstedt was founded in 1923 and is now one of the oldest amateur open-air theaters in Germany. Over the decades, the theater has developed into an important cultural center.

With over 150 volunteers representing all generations, the theater team ensures lively performances every year. Experienced directors and actors help to ensure that the performances are a spectacle full of energy and emotion. These are a highlight for up to 15,000 visitors every year.
