In 1661, the Electoral Brandenburg government confirmed the pharmacy privilege associated with the house. The gabled house was rebuilt in 1899. The architect August Kelpe, who came from Hanover, designed the elaborate clinker brick façade in the North German brick Gothic style and the pharmacy fittings.
The small rear building, which is accessible via a small courtyard, was built directly on the retaining wall to the Upper Old Town.
The current building was constructed at the end of the 17th century and was used as a warehouse and laboratory for the pharmacy.
Today, the building is home to the "Pamela Maria" fashion boutique.
