Art nouveau church with preserved original furnishings
Hagedorn used to belong to the parish of Kirchlengern. Due to the long distances and the delay in the overdue construction of the new church in Kirchlengern, the parishioners in Hagedorn wanted their own church and founded the parish of Hagedorn in 1911.

The Art Nouveau church in Hagedorn, like the churches in Brake, Obernbeck and Oberlübbe, was built according to the plans of architect Joseph Campanie. The people of Hagedorn were able to consecrate their church on May 30, 1911. The interior was designed with great effort and attention to detail.

The church has been a listed building since March 29, 1986. The paintwork was completely restored in 1999 after the renovation and almost all of the original furnishings have been preserved to this day.
