The Kaiserbrunnen spa park at the foot of Hinnenburg Castle is completely separated from the life of the city. The eastern part of the spa park has been left in its natural state, with the only intervention being the construction of footpaths and the cemetery of honour. Here you can still find almost impenetrable shrub growth under tall groups of trees with a rich undergrowth - a treasure trove for the knowledgeable botanist. A large number of different bird species sing here.
The western section has been redesigned and landscaped in recent years. In addition to the state-recognised Kaiserbrunnen healing spring, the main attraction is the pond with a fountain and the lake with a water surface area of 25,000 m². A tennis court, a trim trail and a mini-golf course blend harmoniously into the grounds. During the summer months, spa concerts are held in the Kaiserbrunnen spa gardens.
