The Witches’ Mayor’s House is a museum in Lemgo’s historic old town. It showcases the city’s history and the lives of its people in days gone by.

The museum features many old artifacts and information about Lemgo. A significant part of the exhibition focuses on the witch hunts in the city. Visitors also learn more about Lemgo as a Hanseatic city and about the naturalist Engelbert Kaempfer.


Of particular interest is a model of the old town of Lemgo. It shows what Lemgo used to look like.
