Take a look inside the impressive adventure graduation house!
In July 2007, after more than eight months of construction, the Bad Salzuflen adventure graduation house was put into operation. The replacement building for the town's oldest graduation house, which had dominated the townscape of Bad Salzuflen since 1767 and had to be demolished in 2004, has become the most modern of its kind in Europe. Built from scratch, the graduation house not only provides an insight into the construction of graduation houses, but also houses a number of special features. It is sprinkled with brine extracted from depths of up to 1,000 meters both from the outside and the inside.
Viewing platform
In the rustic entrance area of the accessible graduation house, a solid wooden staircase leads to the viewing platform. From there, you can enjoy wonderful views of the entire graduation house ensemble and the spa architecture of Bad Salzuflen as well as the spa gardens.
Salt fog chamber
A bridge inside takes you to the area of the graduation house, which is intensely permeated with salty air and invites you to take a deep breath. A corridor with small relaxation niches leads into the brine mist chamber. With soft music and a color-changing starry sky, it is a wonderful place to relax. And by the way, with every breath you take, the invigorating microparticles of the healthy air act like a fresh cell cure for the immune system. Tiny droplets of water, known as aerosols, stimulate the circulation in the lungs and the transport of oxygen into the blood in a completely natural way when you breathe in - an energy boost for every cell in the body and a blessing for body, mind and soul.
