Eggemuseum Altenbeken

Town hall/conference centre/meeting place
Venue
Altenbeken's famous Egge Museum was opened in 1976. Housed in a half-timbered house, the core of which dates back to the 18th century, the museum exhibited ornate ovens, stoves and hearths, mainly from the 16th to 19th centuries, which bear witness to the former iron industry.
The former museum no longer exists, although some of the exhibits can still be viewed today. The former Egge Museum now houses the Museumsstuben , where guests are spoiled with homemade cakes, tarts and hearty snacks.

The Egge Museum can also be booked for events. More than 400 m² of floor space in the historic and listed building leave room for many ideas.
