The half-timbered house, built in 1616 by the town and country judge Eberhard Huck, has numerous details worth seeing. It features beautiful Renaissance windows and the only known Lippe Renaissance ceiling painted on wood, which was probably made around 1662. The stately cathedral courtyard is now used as a civic meeting place.
