One further forward was mortgaged to the Jew David Soistmann in 1798, who had it transferred to his son Zadok David, which was confirmed by the town in 1804; however, due to the special legal status of Jews at this time, it is not possible to speak of ownership. The house inscription "ZAD SUDHEIM HANA WEILER 1821" at the rear of the building shows that in the meantime the surname Sudheim had been adopted after a Brakel parish name, as had become compulsory following French emancipation legislation (1808). The son Moses Sudheim moved to the Ruhr area as part of the general migration (industrialisation); the name Sudheim increasingly appears in the Essen area. In 1875 the house comes into the possession of the Schulze family and in 1978 to the present owner Gomolka.
