Dalhausen

Historic town centre
The basket-making village of Dalhausen lies about 8 km southwest of Beverungen in the elongated valley of the Bever.
Surrounded by forests and plateaus, hiking trails such as the 13 km long quality hiking trail  "Wo der Bock zum Gärtner wird" and the 33 km long Weser-Bever-Höhenweg invite you to explore the town and the surrounding mountain ranges. There are always wonderful views from the heights. The R 4 cycle path offers an ideal connection to Beverungen and the popular Weser cycle path.

The Basketmaking Museum Dalhausen, which is open from April to October, illustrates the multifaceted history of basketmaking in the village on an exhibition area of around 380 square meters with numerous original exhibits and comprehensive text and image information. Concerts, readings and special exhibitions complete the offer.

The Catholic pilgrimage church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary dating from 1721 is located not far from the museum in the town center and invites you to enjoy a moment of silence.
