Blauer See

Nature discovery trail
Nature reserve/natural monument
lake
A little away from the better-known lakes in the immediate vicinity of the Hasselbachstausee lies the Blauer See
.
The calm, crystal-clear water reflects the forest in all its facets. The lake is located in one of the largest and oldest nature reserves in Lippe. Parts of the area have been protected since 1925. The moorland landscape is home to many rare animal and plant species.
