In 1932, the Bergkurpark was completed to the north of the historic Kurpark on an area of around 3 hectares between Stern and Schanzenberg. This terraced park is characterized by its geometric design. Characteristic elements are the spacious central staircase and the natural stone walls with various rockery plants. Rose beds, groups of shrubs and boxwood break up this garden. The Garden of the Senses is designed to stimulate the senses. The plans were drawn up by garden architect Pieper from Bielefeld, with Hermann Niemeyer coming to Bad Meinberg as the master gardener.
