Historic site
The Old Mint is a building that dates back to 1260 and is located in the East Westphalian town of Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia.

It is one of the oldest stone houses in Westphalia. It was long assumed that this building used to be the mint in Minden, as many coins were found there. However, this is unlikely today, as running water was needed for production. It is therefore assumed that it was the home of the mint master from the 14th to the 16th century.

Today, there is a restaurant in the building, which is also called the "Alte Münze".
