Directions
Follow the dark green marker with the beech leaf of the Wilderness Trail.
The 23.2-kilometre circular trail first leads over the Großer Kobbennacken to the Burenlinde. From there, it goes through the Seiferduhne to the Römerbrunnen fountain and on to Noak's pump. The trail continues towards Bauernkamp. An approx. 500-metre detour through the bizarre Bielstein Gorge leads to the Bielstein Cave, an important winter habitat for bats. The route continues back to the Lukenloch, also a winter bat roost.
Take the Zollstockweg around the Spellerberg. You reach the village of Kempen via the Köhlerberg. The trail continues around the Ochsenberg and via Kuckuck and the Neuwaldsberg to the Fuchsgrund. You return to the starting point via the idyllic Mühlenberg with a great view of the Durbeke river.
