The VitalWanderWelt - strengthen your heart and circulation
Bad Driburg's history as a private, family-run spa began over 225 years ago. Since then, famous guests have found their way to the traditional mud and mineral spa. In the 18th and 19th centuries in particular, Bad Driburg was a spa and vacation resort for personalities who played an important role in German literary history.
The spa doctor Friedrich Wilhelm Weber, the poet Friedrich Hölderlin and the writer Annette von Droste-Hülshoff are the godparents of the VitalWanderWelt trails. The trails around the spa follow in the footsteps of these historical figures. Information boards guide you through movement and relaxation exercises that are particularly suitable for training the heart and circulation.

33014 Bad DriburgDriving on the B64, take the Bad Driburg Zentrum exit. Drive along Dringenberger Straße (which merges into Konrad-Adenauer-Ring). You will pass a junction with traffic lights (Bad Hermannsborn is signposted here). At the end of Konrad-Adenauer-Ring is the fire station. Turn right here into Pyrmonter Straße and drive in the direction of Reelsen. After the railroad underpass, turn left into the suburb of Reelsen. (In case of snow/ice, please use the detour via Schönenberg.) Immediately before the church in Reelsen, turn right via (Dorf-Straße "Im Lerchenfeld"). Leave the village and follow the road to Bad Hermannsborn. Here the clinic is well signposted on the right-hand side of the road. You will find free parking spaces in the parking lot of the clinic grounds.
