Matthias (Albrecht Schuch) is the founder and director of a successful agency for hiring people. The agency offers a variety of services, ranging from accompanying people on public appearances to manipulating others. Matthias is a master at slipping into any role that is expected of him - and does so effortlessly. But despite being so successful in his job, he is lost outside of it and unable to feel any real emotion. When his girlfriend Sophia (Julia Franz Richter) leaves him, Matthias decides to go in search of himself. This search triggers a chain of chaotic and absurd events that cause him to take a serious look at his life.
