In the Bürgerpark there are shady areas under the overhanging canopy of oaks and pines, but also a large open space, at the edge of which the white stage roof is installed in the shape of a dome. Towards the auditorium, there is a terrace with a rectangular stone surround, which is often used for a short break.
In the Bürgerpark, there is a striking pillar made of five large blocks of stone, symbolizing the five districts of the town.
Less striking is an old millstone, which points to the former use of the site: the Grauthoff-Fiekens mill yard stood here before the town hall and later the school were built. The farm's grinding mill was powered by steam, for which the family received permission in 1900. In addition to the mill, the Grauthoffs ran a grocery store from 1925, which closed in 1972. The land, house and mill were then sold to the municipality of Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, which had the current town hall built there from 1983-1985.

The Bielefeld - Paderborn train line takes you directly to Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. Bus lines 84 and 84.1 take you to the Stukenbrock Rathaus stop and bus line 84.3 takes you to the Stukenbrock Rathausstraße stop. You can find your travel options by public transport via OWL-Verkehr https://teutoowl.de/owlv/.
Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock is easily accessible by car via the A33 highway with two highway exits (Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock and Stukenbrock-Senne). From the Stukenbrock-Senne exit, follow Paderborner Straße, after about 5.6 kilometers turn into Spellerstraße. After about 1.6 kilometers, turn into Alte Spellerstraße, where you will find the Bürgerpark on the left-hand side.
From the freeway exit Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, follow Oerlinghauser Straße for about one kilometer and then turn left into Bahnhofsstraße. Follow this road for about one kilometer and then turn left onto Holter Straße. After one kilometer, take the first exit at the traffic circle onto Rathausstraße and you will find your destination on the right-hand side.
You can reach the Bürgerpark by bike via the SHS 2 cycle path.
