Description:
Heinz Hellmich (Jan Josef Liefers) is threatened with being thrown over the edge at work after a series of missteps. He is said to be an "old white man". However, in order to prove otherwise and somehow save his job, he invites his boss and a handful of other guests to a dinner party with his family. But as is the case when you want to prepare the "perfect" evening: pressure leads to tension, tension leads to anger, anger leads to arguments. That's why things quickly become uncomfortable between Heinz, his wife Carla (Nadja Uhl), the children and even Grandpa Georg (Friedrich von Thun). Nevertheless, everything somehow works out in the end and the party can go ahead. But what happens instead: arguments. Old conflicts are reheated, accusations fly across the table and not every guest was on the invitation list...
