Our hike takes you into the natural beauty of Herzebrock-Clarholz. We cross the enchanting monastery garden in Herzebrock, explore the mysterious burial forest, the Old Cemetery and the New Cemetery. Follow us on this trail to see whether historical and contemporary resting places are transformed into living biotopes in which a rich diversity of flora and fauna can flourish. This tour not only offers the rare opportunity to experience the harmony between nature and cultural heritage up close, but also to explore the role of culturally influenced landscapes for biodiversity.

Important facts about the tour:
9.5 kilometers, easy hike.These paths are not suitable for people with limited mobility (walking aid, rollator, wheelchair, baby carriage).
Bring appropriate footwear for the weather.

This hike is offered as part of the "Natur pur - Naturerlebnis stärken" project in the LEADER GT8 region. It is led by certified hiking guides Sebastian Eweler and Dennis Frank. In manageable groups, you will learn interesting facts about the local biodiversity along the tour in short, simply explained snacks. You can find more tours from our current program here.
