43 functioning wind, water and horse mills as well as Germany's only millable ship mill make up the Minden-Lübbecke mill district. All the mills are connected by the Westphalian Mill Road, which runs for 320 km through the entire Minden-Lübbecke district.

From April to October, the mills are in operation alternately on grinding and baking days and invite you to enjoy Westphalian hospitality.
