Herforder Weihnachtsmarkt

The time of the Christmas market in Herford has arrived, when the squares and streets of the city center are festively decorated, numerous twinkling lights illuminate the darkness and the enticing smell of roasted almonds and mulled wine attracts visitors. Until December 30, guests of all ages have the opportunity to feast, shop and enjoy Herford's Christmassy ambience to their heart's content. Each square of the Christmas market has its own fascination and delights with special highlights.

Different vendors from the region offer their treats and handmade products. 

From December 1 - 23, the flying Santa Claus not only makes children's eyes light up. Twice a day, he flies over the town hall square, offering a little story and sometimes even presents.
