Elsen St. Martin's Market

The St. Martin’s Market in Elsen brings families and visitors together at the Schützenplatz near the community center. Beforehand, children and their families walk through town carrying glowing lanterns in the traditional St. Martin’s procession. There, the story of St. Martin is performed as a St. Martin’s play, accompanied by music from the Bundes-Schützen-Musikkorps and the Hubertusjäger marching band. Afterward, craft booths, bratwurst, pea soup, and hot drinks invite visitors to browse and enjoy themselves.
