Deutscher Mühlentag 2026 - Hartings Mühle
Once again this year, we are celebrating German Mill Day traditionally on Whit Monday, 09.06.25, at Harting's Mill in Kleinenbremen.
The festive program begins at 10.30 am with the open-air church service of the parish of Kleinenbremen. In addition to Pastor Hendrik Rethemeier, the trombone choir will also accompany the event.
In the further course of the event, we, the Heimat- und Mühlenfreunde of the Heimatverein, offer an extensive and colorful family program. In addition to coffee and cakes (fresh from the bakery), pea soup, drinks and grilled sausages will provide for your physical well-being.
In the supporting program, the dance and traditional costume group of TuS-Kleinenbremen will perform their traditional dances and invite you to dance the "Achttourigen" dance, among other things. Hengk&Gianni (Two Step) will provide musical entertainment in the afternoon program and invite you to dance and sway with a wide repertoire of music.
Class 1 of the Kleinenbremen elementary school is organizing the children's program this year. They will be making things with natural materials based on the theme "I'll join in". As in the previous year, children from Year 4 will be taking part in the "Children read for children" campaign.
Interested guests can find out about the mill and agricultural equipment in the village museum on the upper floor of the mill. In addition to the tailor's and cobbler's workshop and the farmer's kitchen, many historical exhibits can be viewed.
The Kleinenbremen village workshop will also be there on Whit Monday! At their stand, current and exciting offers for our village in the areas of "Cooking, Designing, Moving & The Digital Village" will be presented for all age groups!
The friends of the Heimatverein Kleinenbremen e. V. are looking forward to numerous visitors under the trees at Harting's mill in Kleinenbremen.
With a friendly miller's greeting "Glück zu!"
