Dagmar Schönleber: Endlich 50!

It’s time to celebrate: After schoolyards, pimples, and planning the family, we have gotten through the worst and are still here! Advertising calls us “Best Agers” and the world is open to us as long as we have the necessary pocket money. 

Okay, many of us can’t make a move without a noise anymore, and for some, the arms are too short to read the small print, but the signposts on the path to self-actualization can only be seen with the heart, right? But beware: The second half of life should not be wasted on bad calendar quotes! The clock is ticking, so we must make quick decisions regarding self-actualization: Master’s degree, climbing Mount Everest, or a Me-Time Challenge with macramé? Saving the world or a wine tasting?

And how do you maintain joy in life despite the obvious decline? Dagmar Schönleber knows: Fortunately, in our second puberty, we have more life experience, gut feeling, and serenity. We can only handle half as many drinks as we used to, but we carry everything with dignity – except for orthopedic shoes in beige!
